Explanation Writing (What Makes a Good Friend)

Everyone needs a friend

Being a good friend means when you take care of them when they are feeling upset. There is this one thing that can make you become a better person & a better friend and that word is (TEAMWORK) teamwork is when you and your friends collaborate together. The most important thing in friendship is teamwork and for the young people that don't know what teamwork stands for i'll tell you. Teamwork stands for Together Everyone Attaining Meaningful Well Organized Reward-able Work.

What would you do without a friend? Well in my opinion I think when you don’t have any friends you will probably be sad,depressed and maybe even miserable. Without a friend you will never have anyone to express your feelings to.

What qualities make someone a good friend? I think Non-Judgemental people make a good friend because they don’t judge you when you make mistakes and even when you do something wrong. However being loyal also makes a good friendship because when you tell them secrets they won't go out there and spread rumours about what you told them. 

How can you be a friend for someone who needs one? However to be a friend who needs one can listen to others and be real with one another. I also think that when you ask someone if they need help then you are also making a good friend.

How can you become loyal to your friends? Well in my opinion I think that to become loyal to your friends is when you are always there for them when they need you. Like for example when they are stuck in their work and you are done doing your work you can at least take a little bit of your time and help them out so they can get on with their work. 

Why do you have to be nice to one another? Well in my eyes I think we have to be nice to one another because you don’t know what is going on in their personal life. Like they might be coming to school and they may look happy on the outside but they are sad,depressed and maybe even suicidal. That is why it is good to be nice to one another. If you want to be a good friend I suggest that you should be nice to one another. 

You never know maybe one day you will wake up and think that the person who you were bullying is coming to school but really that person is gone and you know what it means by gone. (Killed them self) because of bullying. So I think in my opinion you should never judge others on their phenotype for those who don't know what phenotype means it means their physical appearance.

Being a good friend can be hard I agree but at the end of the day you have to push yourself to be a good friend. Like I said before you don’t know how they feel when they come to school. Like in our school we have our school values (REACH) each letter stands for something like R (Responsibility) E (Effort) A (Ako) C (commitment) and H (Honesty) all of these words also apply to being a good friend. 

Responsibility applies to being a good friend because say that you have done something to that person it's your responsibility to own up and say that you have done it. Effort also applies to being a good friend because you have to but in at least some effort to help your friends. Ako applies because ako means to teach and help others and when you teach someone you are really trying to push them over their limit. Commitment is when you have the courage to help others share with others and more. Honesty is one of the most important things you should have in your friendship/life and more. Honesty applies to friendship because you always have to be honest to everyone because like everyone says honesty is the best policy.

Can people have 2 best friends well in my opinion I think it is Yes, it is entirely possible to have 2 best friends. I have two closest friends, one with whom I share a deep intellect connection and the other with my other troubles. One friend may not understand all your dimensions. So it's entirely possible to have two bffs.

This brings me to the end of my explanation writing about friendship. I hope you guys know that friendship is one of the most important things in life. Friendship is good because at the end of the day if you have no friends you will be lonely. I hope you know the point of what I was writing about. 

Tech @ TC-Robotics #3

Today my class and I went robotics, we learnt the important parts in the m-bots and how it functions. We played some games like Binary game,Quizzes,Kahoot it was fun because I completed it and got 100%! after that we learnt more about M bot. It was so fun learning about it and having fun with my classmates while playing with the m-bots! Going towards the end of our class we got to do a quiz and kahoot it was fun because if we won the quiz we could get a chocolate.

Today we went to Tamaki College , for technology. Today when we got into class there were tables that were separated for safety reasons.

First thing we did was logging into our computers, and started playing the Binary  game then went on playing the Classic maze   game , were you have to give it set instructions to do what you have asked it to do. This time the coding game was a different compared to the last game one we've done, because it was the angry bird trying to catch the naughty green pig. We had to complete all twenty levels, and I've completed all of it. Then we ended the class off with two quizizz games, about naming the logo

Tongan Language Week (Activity 1)

 

Today in Room six we have a whole lot of activities to do apart of the Tongan Language Week. I really enjoy Tongan Language Week because I get a better understanding on how to speak Tongan. 

Two men arrested over Northland cannabis growing operation

Police have uncovered another alleged large-scale illegal cannabis growing operation in Northland with 2000 plants being destroyed.

It comes only six months after 4000 cannabis plants were found in a large growing operation in Kaipara.

Yesterday police confirmed they carried out a search warrant at a property in Kerikeri on July 28 and found a large amount of cannabis.

Two men were arrested. Police would not release any further information as the case was now before the courts.

Man allegedly pulled gun on police officers during traffic stop in Auckland Central

A young man has been arrested after allegedly presenting a firearm at police following a routine traffic stop in Auckland Central.

Police pulled over the vehicle on Victoria St West around 11.44am today, Auckland City Central area commander Inspector Gary Davey said in a statement.

The driver of the vehicle supplied false details to officers and was placed under arrest.

Pewter Casting

3 weeks ago we continued with our pewter casting workbook, and this particular workbook leaded to creating a pendant. (A pendant is a piece of jewellery that hangs from a chain) In our workbook we write down the recipients, then write down the reason why we created it for them or myself. After we finish that our tech teacher will inform us on how to make the pendent. Then 12 of May we went to Tamaki College for Technology. At Tamaki College we learned different types of subjects, such as science, robotics, food technology and hard work material. I'm currently in hard work material. In this particular class we had to continue on with our task which was our workbooks, in this workbook it preserved information about creating our pendant. (Pewter is a type of metal that is soft and gentle, it can be easily shaped by hand or machine)  After we finished we would move on to the next step which is choosing a design, than creating that design in pewter. Today we went to Tamaki College to experience what work is like at college. I am currently in Mr Grundy's class. In this class we do  hard work material, which is creating things with wood. Today I proceeded to the next level which was cutting out my design, when we finished we would show it to the teacher for his approval  to move on to the next stage.  According to google research pewter is "A alloy of tin with copper and antimony," (Firmly, tin and lead) 

While the pewter is melting he would go help other students that are struggling. To get his attention we would yell MR! to notify him the pewter is melted. When that role is completed he would turn off the gas burner than pour it into our design holds up by another piece of wood. We would wait for at least 5 to 10 minutes for our pewter to set.  After that we would take the pendant out than smooth the edges which is where I am currently at. But hopefully I would complete my work by next week. When we finished our tech class Mr Grundy told us that we have to make sure our workbook is up to date. When it was just about time to go he said his favourite part is to see our back left the class and then he said he was joking. I am up to polishing mine pewter I really enjoy my tech class.
